BREAKING NEWS: Packers’ head coach lament over the availability of their best wide receivers and key starting Duo for Monday Night Football clash with Giants

When the Green Bay Packers face the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, they will be without one of their star wide receivers. According to ESPN, Packers receiver Christian Watson is out with a hamstring injury.

It’s a difficult setback for the Packers and quarterback Jordan Love. Love had found a reliable target in Watson. Watson had a three-game streak of scoring at least one receiving touchdown, including two in the Packers’ Dec. 3 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Watson has 28 receptions for 422 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season. He has the most receiving yards on the team. Watson, on the other hand, has been dealing with a hamstring injury on and off.

“Obviously, we have to be smart with it,” Watson told PackersWire. “Just gotta take it day by day.”

Green Bay will have to rely on their other receivers to win against the Giants. The team is hoping to extend its three-game winning streak. The Packers have a 6-6 record and are three games out of first place in the NFC North.

The team is dealing with injuries at the receiver position. This season, Jayden Reed leads the team in receiving yards, but he’s also been dealing with a chest injury. He was limited in team practice this week. Reed will be relied on much more in the Packers passing offense if he is able to play without Watson.
