JUST IN: Browns fans Furious reaction with letter to Kevin Stefanski decision on Joe Flacco for the rest of the season -Mary Kay, Jeffrey David Lerner Daryl scott and more

CLEVELAND, OHIO (AP) — This week on Hey, Mary Kay! I respond to questions about Joe Flacco, Myles Garrett, and other topics.

Hello there, Mary Kay: What are the chances that Joe Flacco will be the starter for the rest of the season with Dorian Thompson-Robinson learning behind him? X — @NickDawg277

Hello, Nick: I believe Flacco will hold down the first spot for the rest of the season and playoffs while Thompson-Robinson climbs the learning curve. The Browns require someone with poise and experience at this point in the season because there is so little room for error. The stakes are too high to put faith in a rookie who has only started three NFL games.

Did any Browns position groups get worse this offseason? Hey, Mary Kay! - YouTube

especially with so many key offensive player injuries and defenses ready to pounce. It’s that time of year when teams pull out all the stops and go for broke in order to stay in the hunt. The Browns are currently the No. 5 seed out of seven, with teams like Indianapolis and Houston chasing them. Flacco has been in many close playoff races before and knows what it takes. I believe he will keep the job as long as he protects the ball and plays a clean game.
Hello there, Mary Kay: Why hasn’t Myles Garrett been moved around on the defensive line? He always seems to be on the left tackle side.

The best example was the Tennessee game, when Myles moved and so did the extra offensive personnel. He even moved again, causing Tennessee’s game to be delayed. They just don’t seem to be moving him like they did in that game. Daryl Scott from Lake Worth, Fla.
Hello, Daryl: Garrett has gone two weeks without a sack for a variety of reasons, and they may try to move him some against the Jaguars on Sunday to find some mismatches. However, the Jaguars will be without a third left tackle this season in either former Brown. Garrett should be able to get to the quarterback from the right side using Blake Hance or Ezra Cleveland. Trevor Lawrence will undoubtedly play the fast game.

, but he’ll be less mobile than usual due to the sprained ankle, making him more vulnerable to the Browns’ lightning-quick rushers. I believe Garrett will have multiple sacks and possibly a strip or two in this game, especially if C.J. Beathard plays. The defense is determined to end its two-game sack streak.
Hello there, Mary Kay: It’s fantastic that Coop (Amari Cooper) is returning for this game. Unfortunately, we are up against a ferocious pass rush led by Josh Allen, and we are once again down to our fourth and fifth tackles. Do you think we’ll be able to keep Joe Flacco safe?

well enough to make a downfield throw? Do you believe Kevin Stefanski will offer Dorian Thompson-Robinson a package? Thank you very much, Mary Kay! Keep doing what you’re doing! #bringthepain — Avon Lake, Ohio’s Jeffrey David Lerner
Hello, Jeff: You’re very welcome! While Josh Allen ranks third in the NFL with 13.5 sacks, a half-sack ahead of Myles Garrett, the Jaguars lack a diverse group of fearsome rushers. They have 26 sacks, which is tied for fifth-fewest in the NFL, and their second-highest sacker is linebacker Travon Walker, who has 5.0.
They will try to exploit the backup tackles, but Flacco should be able to get the ball out quickly and allow the receivers to gain yards after the catch for the most part. He should have enough time to throw downfield, in my opinion.

Browns' Kevin Stefanski mum on Joe Flacco's starting status after loss to Rams

I’m not sure if Stefanski will have a playbook for Thompson-Robinson, but I believe it would be wise to use him at various points to provide a change of pace and style.
Hello there, Mary Kay! What happens now that P.J. Walker has been waived? Recognize his contributions to the team and keep him as a backup quarterback with Deshaun Watson on injured reserve. — X Jesson Prohaska

Hello, Jesson: Walker’s contribution and ability to keep the Browns in the playoff hunt with his 1-1 record and victory over the Colts is greatly appreciated by the team. Walker, who already knows the system and is familiar with the program, is likely to be re-signed to the practice squad.

Hello there, Mary Kay: Why isn’t there more Pierre Strong? He appears to be a fast runner. — Wooster, Ohio resident Rhonda Edgerton

Hello, Rhonda: This season, Strong has provided the Browns with some difficult yards and big plays, including a 40-yard run against the Ravens and a 41-yard catch against the Seahawks. Given that Jerome Ford has averaged in the 2.0s in three of his last five games, it’s surprising he hasn’t been used more. The Browns have preferred to focus on Ford and Kareem Hunt’s one-two punch, but Strong will come in handy down the stretch.
