Martavis Bryant, a former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, was signed to the Dallas Cowboys practice squad on November 6, five years after his last NFL snap.
However, given his position on the team and his time away from the game, there haven’t been many updates on Bryant since then.
However, with the Cowboys leading the NFC East and possibly the conference’s No. 1 seed, the team could ramp up Bryant for the final stretch of the regular season in the hopes of using him in the playoffs.
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy spoke briefly about Bryant’s situation and how he’s adjusting to life on the team.

Bryant last played for the Oakland Raiders in 2018, after spending four years with the Pittsburgh Steelers and serving two NFL suspensions.
He was suspended for the entire 2016 season after violating the league’s substance abuse policy, and he was suspended indefinitely at the end of the 2018 season after violating the terms of his first reinstatement.
