JUST IN: Packers’ Head Coach issues a worrying update on Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon ahead of Buccaneers clash

When the Green Bay Packers play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15, their running back depth may be severely limited.

According to Adam Schefter, Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are both classified as questionable for Sunday’s game.
Jones last played on November 19th against the Los Angeles Chargers, so it has been a while since his previous game. It’s unlikely that he’ll participate because he’s recovering from an MCL injury and was only restricted in practice this week. The Packers running back has gained two touchdowns and 3.7 yards per carry in seven games. a year where Jones had some setbacks.

Packers RB AJ Dillon has a broken right thumb; availability vs. Bucs uncertain

Dillon, on the other hand, has been practicing very little this week due to a fractured thumb. It seems that he suffered the injury during last Monday’s loss to the New York Giants. With 13 games played, including six starts, and 3.5 yards per carry, he is also not having a terrific season.

The Packers’ rush game, which is ranked 19th in the NFL, has had difficulty all season. Patrick Taylor will be handling the most of the job if Jones and Dillon are unable to travel. This season, he has only gained 20 yards on average on 20 carries. Although that’s commendable, it’s unclear if he can generate consistent output as the starter.

With a Wild Card place still very much in the balance, Green Bay is desperate for a win going into their matchup with the Buccaneers. If Jordan Love’s two running backs aren’t healthy enough, he will need to have an incredible performance.
