SHOCKING: Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans Issues a fresh and shocking update on C.J. Stroud (concussion) before Tennessee game

For the first time this season, quarterback C.J. Stroud will not be playing for the Houston Texans as they declared their inactives.

Stroud did not travel with the squad on Saturday and is still under the concussion protocol. He and right tackle George Fant were both ruled out yesterday. The Texans also ruled out linebacker Blake Cashman and defensive end Will Anderson, Jr. on Friday.

Nico Collins, a wide receiver, is sidelined today due to a calf issue. Last week, he grabbed a 13-yard pass to surpass 1,000 yards for the season.

In 2023, Case Keenum will play quarterback for just the second time.

Additionally, tight end Dalton Schultz returned to action following a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury.
