The first is our immediate reaction to the Buffs’ rout of the 15th-ranked Miami Hurricanes. The Buffs annihilated them with a five-out motion offense led by Tristan da Silva, KJ Simpson, and Eddie Lampkin. This is a fantastic team that will only get better when Cody Williams returns from injury.
Coach Prime has overhauled the offensive line in a matter of days on the football field. He’s signed two transfer recruits and Jordan Seaton, the top-rated offensive lineman in the high school class. Deion has also brought in some standout preps, including Kamron Mikell, a potential two-way player.
We also go over the staff changes. Prime has had to fill a few gaps after offensive coordinator Sean Lewis left for San Diego State and some position coaches departed. The addition of coaches like Phil Loadholt (and others) has a significant impact on prep recruiting, transfer portal issues, and, of course, the on-field product.
