The 6-0, 175-pound pass catcher just finished an outstanding junior season for the Aztecs. Vines-Bright had 59 receptions for 1,114 yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games, averaging 18.9 yards per reception.

Coach Brown was most recently the wide receivers coach at the University of Wisconsin, where Vines-Bright had already accepted an offer. Even before Brown officially joined the Irish, Notre Dame had been conducting research on the Arizona native. Brown’s presence added the finishing touches to the offer.

“Getting offered was a great moment,” Vines-Bright told Irish Breakdown. “It was definitely an easy conversation for me because I already had a relationship with Coach Brown.”

” Vines-Bright already has a high Notre Dame option. They’ve been a school he’s wanted to hear from for a long time.

“My early thoughts about Notre Dame is that it’s always been one of those schools I would love to go to and it definitely helps that I have close family in Indiana,” he said. “It’s a great school, education and football program.”

The Irish have already done enough to pique the interest of the talented wide receiver. Vines-Bright has a list of very impressive schools and is already sorting through it all to find his best fit. Visits during the offseason will play a significant role in that final decision.

“Recruiting has been good, and it’s starting to pick up again,” said Vines-Bright. “Right now, USC, Notre Dame, Arizona, Michigan, and Washington stand out.”

“I want to try to commit by this summer but when I visit I will know that it is home,” he went on to say. “That feeling will come.”

Vines-Bright’s recruiting ranking has begun to rise significantly. On3 ranks him as the No. 200 overall player and No. 29 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class, and he is rated as a four-star recruit.

The Arizona native has been getting calls from more and more prestigious programs. The Irish, USC, Michigan, Washington, UCLA, Wisconsin, Kansas, Utah, Arizona, Arizona State, Louisville, Baylor, and Purdue have all made offers to Vines-Bright.
