BREAKING NEWS: Top insider reveals Miami Hurricanes on the verge to tip over national signing day, Latest report

Before Wednesday’s National Signing Day, Alex Donno and Brian Smith discuss the latest Miami Hurricanes news.
Brian Smith and I sat down this week to navigate all of the top Miami Hurricanes storylines!

Miami and Florida State are still vying for Washington State transfer quarterback Cam Ward. Ward’s decision could be made at any point between Monday, December 18th, and Christmas Day. His father has stated that he can still enter the NFL Draft.

Miami has most likely passed on their second option, Kansas State transfer Will Howard, who is strongly leaning toward USC. DJ Uiagaleilei, an Oregon State transfer, is FSU’s backup option.

I’ve heard the Hurricanes have a backup quarterback in place if Ward is not available, but the identity of that quarterback or quarterbacks is being kept very close to Mario Cristobal’s vest.

We also go over the latest developments for four players who came to Miami this weekend despite being committed elsewhere.

Armondo Blount, a 5-star defensive lineman from Miami Central and Florida State commit.

Jordan Lyle, a 4-star running back from St. Thomas Aquinas and an Ohio State commit.

Adarius Hayes, a 4-star linebacker from Largo, FL, is a Florida commit.

Xavier Lucas, a 3-star American Heritage defensive back, has committed to Wisconsin.

It’s worth noting that I don’t expect any of the four mentioned above to make their final decision until their respective signing ceremonies on Wednesday.

We also talked about the reaction to 4-Star running back Kevin Riley’s visit to Alabama. The Miami commit is now leaning toward Alabama but will not make a decision until signing day on Wednesday.
