The Chicago Bears are in a difficult situation right now.
They have a good problem in that they are likely to have the first pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, but they also have a potential franchise quarterback already.
With that in mind, fans and analysts have debated whether the Bears should go with a top prospect like Drake Maye or Caleb Williams or give Justin Fields another shot.
That’s why Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore made it clear that he doesn’t think either of those prospects are better than the Ohio State product (via PFF).
Fields has shown flashes of great play here and there this season, and he appeared to be on the verge of breaking out.
Despite the injuries and inconsistent play, some believe he has what it takes to be a franchise quarterback; all he needs is a different system and environment to be at his best.
The Bears should receive a lot of trade interest for him in the coming months, and they’ll have to carefully consider all possible scenarios before making a decision about his future with the team.
