BREAKING NEWS: Club Insider Reveals honest updates on starting QB for Browns Game

The Houston Texans have been one of the NFL’s surprise teams this season, but they appear to be limping toward the finish line.

The Texans have been hit hard by injuries in recent weeks, with Tank Dell out for the season after breaking his fibula.

Texans QB C.J. Stroud likely out Sunday vs. Browns, sources say - ESPN

The offense has been without C.J. Stroud, who suffered a concussion in Week 15 against the Tennessee Titans.

Stroud suffered the injury in Week 14’s loss to the New York Jets after hitting the back of his head on the field.

Stroud was expected to miss the Titans game, but there was some hope that he’d be able to return in Week 16 against the Cleveland Browns.

Although Stroud has been working his way through the league’s concussion protocol, it appears he will miss his second consecutive game, according to ESPN’s DJ Bien-Aime.

QB C.J. Stroud has become the Houston Texans' Caped Crusader

This is unfortunate news for Stroud and Houston fans, as he must be eager to return to the field and help his team secure a playoff spot.

The rookie quarterback has been historically good this season, but if he is unavailable, the Texans will revert to Case Keenum.

Keenum was adequate against Tennessee, and he did just enough to give Houston a much-needed victory.

Although Keenum is fine for now, the Texans are hoping that Stroud will be cleared in time for next week’s game against the Titans.

Stroud is the face of the Houston Rockets, and fans can’t wait to see him play again.
