BREAKING NEWS: Dallas Cowboys linebacker break silence on some fans Wanting To Change His Role, fans reaction and more

Many consider Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons to be the favorite to win the Defensive Player of the Year award right now.

He has 12.5 sacks, 27 quarterback hits, and 14 tackles for loss through 14 games, and he is the main reason the Cowboys are sixth in total yards allowed and fifth in points allowed.

Some fans have asked Parsons to become an off-the-ball linebacker and change his role slightly, and Parsons has responded on Twitter to those requests.

The Cowboys have struggled to stop the run at times, and in their loss to the Buffalo Bills last weekend, they let James Cook run amok for 169 yards on 25 attempts.

However, their pass defense has been largely outstanding, with Parsons leading the charge.

Dallas is in hot pursuit of first place in the NFC East with a 10-4 record, and they currently hold first place due to a marginal tiebreaker over the Philadelphia Eagles, who are also 10-4.

Cowboys LB Micah Parsons sends fans gas money

If the San Francisco 49ers, who currently have the best record in the NFC, lose to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday, they could finish with the top seed in the entire conference.

Regardless of how well Parsons is playing, there is lingering doubt about the Cowboys’ ability to win big games in the winter against difficult opponents, and that narrative was resurrected by their 21-point loss to the Bills.

They’ll have a chance to put that fear to rest on Sunday when they visit the Miami Dolphins, who have the NFL’s best and most explosive offense.
