All-around linebacker Adarius Hayes commits to the Hurricanes from the Florida Gators, continuing Miami’s incredible recruiting haul.
A devoted Gators supporter for his entire life, Hayes announced his initial commitment to Florida and Billy Napier on January 28, 2023. Despite this, Mario Cristobal and his coaching staff persisted in their pursuit of the 225-pound, 6-foot-4 linebacker. The Canes’ acquisition was completed by an official visit on December 15th after an unofficial visit earlier in the year.
As a linebacker, Hayes is an absolute thumper, and his physique just gets bigger. He might put his hand in the soil and become a defensive end, or he could become a bigger linebacker.
Hayes, a graduate of Largo (Fla.) High School, is ranked #69 among players in the 247Sports composite.As of right now, the Canes are on track to go for a top-five recruiting class.
