Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has the Wolverines in the College Football Playoff for the third year in a row, and the school allegedly wants to keep him on for the long haul.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the school is proposing Harbaugh a 10-year, $125 million deal extension. Importantly, the contract includes a provision requiring Harbaugh not to seek or consider NFL coaching offers for the 2024 season. Harbaugh has an 87-25 record in nine seasons at his alma mater, Michigan. This includes a 13-0 record this season, despite serving two three-game suspensions throughout the regular season.
