JUST IN: Pro Football Hall Of Famer Terry Bradshaw blast Falcons HC Arthur Smith’s poor managemet amid Quarterback Desmond Ridder situation with two words letter to GM Terry Fontenot

Terry Bradshaw, a former NFL star and Fox Sports broadcaster, recently chastised Arthur Smith, the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Bradshaw’s attack came after Smith backtracked on his statements.

Smith had named Desmond Ridder as the team’s quarterback for the remainder of the season, but he did not follow through on his choice. Ridder and Taylor Heinicke have each led the Falcons this season. However, Smith chose Ridder again after Week 11, citing Heinicke’s inconsistency.

Smith, the head coach, has also confirmed that Heinicke will start the Week 16 game against the Indianapolis Colts. Ridder has recently seen his grind, and Bradshaw stated that he has “no respect” for the head coach because he believes he has lied to the quarterback about his promises. Ridder, according to the Pro Football Hall of Famer, should earn greater prospects.

Bradshaw hammered Smith on the Christmas Eve broadcast of Fox NFL Sunday, saying, “Nothing irritates me more than when someone lies to me.” Alright? Desmond Ridder, the third-year player, was picked in the third round by Atlanta in the third year. ‘You’re my quarterback for the rest of the year,’ he was told after Week 8. I’m not going to put you on the bench. ‘You’re my man,’ I say. ‘I’m not going to bench you,’ Arthur Smith declared. “What exactly did he do?”

“‘If you don’t win out this year, Arthur Smith, you’re going to lose your job,’ someone said upstairs.” He also benched him. As a result, I have no regard for Arthur Smith. You messed with Desmond Ridder, the young quarterback. You have set him back. Play the young man, leave him alone, and don’t tell him anything. He also lied to him. And he’s gotta get his but whooped!”

The Atlanta Falcons, on the other hand, defeated the Indianapolis Colts, and Henicke delivered one of his best games.
