The Bears, on the other hand, could make a move soon in order to finish the season strong.
Bleacher Report’s NFL staff suggested that Chicago sign free agent wide receiver Amari Rodgers, a former Green Bay Packers wide receiver and return man:

Amari Rodgers, Wide Receiver

Wide receiver is expected to be one of the Bears’ most pressing offseason needs, and they could use someone in the slot as Darnell Mooney’s contract is set to expire. Rodgers should be brought in for a few weeks to see if he’s worth a reserve or future contract, especially since he won’t turn 25 until September.

Packers trade up to select Clemson wide receiver Amari Rodgers

He has played 33 games for the Colts (2023), Texans (2022), and Packers (2021-22), catching 20 passes for 249 yards and one touchdown. Rodgers has also rushed three times for 18 yards, returned 40 punts for 305 yards on average (7.6), and returned 17 kickoffs for 321 yards on average (18.9).

It would be an intriguing move if the Bears signed the former Green Bay Packers third-round draft pick. Would they consider it solely to gain an advantage over the Packers in their Week 18 matchup?
