There’s really no other way to express it. In this game, the Bears totally outplayed the Falcons. Chicago finished the day with 240 passing yards, 192 running yards, and held the ball for 37 minutes and 14 seconds. Meanwhile, Atlanta concluded the game with 173 passing yards, 134 running yards, and only 22 minutes and 46 seconds of possession. The difference in possession time is the most evident.
It’ll be interesting to watch what the Falcons do next. They’re still theoretically in the playoff picture, but they’re a long shot to make it. This squad is loaded with talent, but the belief is that they are a quarterback away from becoming a genuine threat. It would be beneficial if the offensive also fed their key players.
