The Green Bay Packers’ rumored No. 1 receiver Christian Watson and starter tight end Luke Musgrave have a “realistic” shot to play in the regular-season finale against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Musgrave is being considered for the active roster on gameday for the first time since being hurt in Week 11 due to a lacerated kidney. “I’d say it’s realistic, yes,” said Packers head coach Matt LaFleur.
Watson has five touchdown receptions but has been plagued by ailments since his draft in 2022. When healthy, he’s been Green Bay’s go-to big-play threat, averaging 15.1 yards on 28 receptions this season.

Despite missing time, Musgrave, the 42nd choice in the 2023 draft, is the co-star of the rookie class with wide receiver Jayden Reed and is tied for third on the team with 33 receptions. Green Bay is also hoping Reed can play this week after suffering a chest injury in last week’s win over the Vikings. Prior to departing the game, Reed had six catches for 89 yards and two scores.
Reed, the team’s leading with 60 catches, has eight touchdown catches, tied for the most on the Packers with Romeo Doubs.
