According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers are adding reinforcements for their season finale against the Baltimore Ravens.

Elandon Roberts and Minkah Fitzpatrick

Although their status is dubious, the #Steelers have promoted LB Myles Jack and S Eric Rowe from the practice squad to the active roster.

Roberts appears to have a better chance than Fitzpatrick of playing, although neither has been ruled out.

The Steelers are hoping that both Fitzpatrick and Roberts will play, but this is a clue that they are preparing for the possibility that they may not. Roberts told the media last week that he intends to participate, but his dubious tag implies that it isn’t a given.

Steelers Sights and Sounds: First Look at New DB Eric Rowe

Myles After coming out of retirement, Jack, 28, has appeared in each of the Steelers’ last two games. He has 14 tackles, which is a significant lift for the defense following numerous major injuries at inside linebacker. Eric Rowe has also played the last two games, making 17 tackles and an interception.
Fitzpatrick hasn’t played since Week 15, and Roberts hasn’t played since Week 16, but if neither of them can play against the Ravens, they’ll have plenty of backup options. Trenton Thompson (neck) was also ruled questionable for Week 18 after missing the previous two weeks, putting that depth to the test even more.
The Steelers and Ravens will play at M&T Bank Stadium tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. ET.
