CBS REPORT: CBS chief reporter reveals All-Time Great coach is likely heading to Atlanta Falcons

Bill Belichick, the great head coach of the New England Patriots, helped bring six Lombardi Trophies to Foxboro, and his next location could be in the NFC South. It’s no secret that Belichick’s two-decade tenure with the Patriots will expire at the end of the season. The Patriots’ owner, Robert Kraft, insisted that the team make the playoffs in 2023, and the club replied by having its worst season in 30 years. While Belichick will always be a legend in New England, all good things must come to an end, and a parting of ways is in everyone’s best interests.

Bill Belichick Battling Illness, Expects To Coach In Patriots-Jets

Since Tom Brady left for greener pastures, Belichick has been in charge of trying to find a winning formula without the best quarterback in NFL history. It hasn’t worked out thus far. Nobody can blame Belichick for suffering in 2020; the Patriots went all-in on Brady’s final years, and losing a player like him is bound to cause problems. However, since 2021, New England has established a record for guaranteed money given out in free agency, chosen the heir to Brady’s throne, and the team has not improved. Is it time for the eight-time Super Bowl champion to retire, or does he simply need a change of scenery?

While the reporter does not name any individual teams, she does note that there are several performing their due diligence, and we can use the process of elimination to figure out who they are.
