Falcons Update: Falcons Fan huge reaction after club named NFL all time best coach their legitimate HC target for Falcons

The Falcons are in a difficult situation because they might still make the playoffs, however unlikely, but they could also lose another top-ten draft pick.

The team must defeat the Saints in New Orleans and the Panthers must defeat the Buccaneers in Carolina. It would break Atlanta’s playoffs drought and provide the city with its first home playoff game since the city’s epic Super Bowl run in 2016.

Falcons head coach Arthur Smith names Desmond Ridder starting QB

Arthur Smith’s employment appears to be in jeopardy as well. Now, I don’t believe a win or a loss will affect his fate, but if the Falcons are humiliated on Sunday, I’m not sure how it won’t affect Arthur Blank’s feelings.

Most recently, Adam Schefter stated that Atlanta’s owner has been torn, adding that Blank is “surveying the coaching landscape, mulling what options are out there.”

Organizations must take a step back and consider the possibility that the new head coach is no better than the present one. Too often, NFL and college organizations will make a hasty decision without examining the hiring pool, resulting in a worse alternative. It happens more frequently than you might expect. The importance of timing cannot be overstated.
When it comes to possible prospects, there is a tea flavor for everyone.

Ben Johnson, Brian Johnson, Bobby Slowik, and Frank Smith are the spanking new bright offensive minds. Everyone is looking for the next Kyle Shanahan, so these people should get a lot of attention.

There are additional defensive coaches, like Dan Quinn, Lou Anarumo, Jerod Mayo, Brian Flores, and Mike Macdonald.

There are also wild cards. Jim Harbaugh has repeatedly shown interest in returning to the NFL. A couple of current head coaches may also leave their current teams.

Mike Vrabel’s name has surfaced in trade speculations, but the big fish that appears set to hit the market is Bill Belichick, and Josina Anderson recently revealed that teams in the NFC South are interested.

To put things in context, Dianna Russini intimated Saturday morning that Belichick is a definite possibility in Atlanta. “Watch for Blank to take a big swing for Belichick as well if he moves on from Smith.” “This isn’t a rebuild in Atlanta anymore,” an insider told The Athletic.
Though his track record as a general manager is poor at best, Belichick’s ability as a head coach is unrivaled. He’s the best of all time, and if he leaves Foxborough this summer, he’ll be a valuable commodity.

If Belichick does not seek influence over personnel decisions, I would support such a move.
