Baltimore — A source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Steelers are concerned defensive MVP candidate T.J. Watt may have sustained a Grade 3 left MCL sprain during the third quarter of Pittsburgh’s crucial 17-10 victory over the Ravens on Saturday. Additional testing is required.
Watt sustained the left knee injury moments after securing his second sack of the afternoon when he leaped and collided with teammate Montravius Adams. Watt wanted to play again, but the Steelers wouldn’t let him, and he was out for the remainder of the game.

On Saturday, Watt had two sacks and one tackle for loss. Along with his older brother J.J., Watt is the only player in NFL history to have multiple seasons with at least 19 sacks. Watt leads the league in sacks as well.
