The opening of the transfer portal caused a major exodus of players from Tennessee’s secondary. One of the contributors that went via the portal was Wesley Walker, a defensive back who was a key member of the Vols in 2022 and 2023. In his two seasons at Knoxville, Tennessee, Walker racked up 56 tackles, six pass deflections, two sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception. On Monday morning, he revealed his new transfer destination.
Walker, who began his collegiate career with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets before moving to Tennessee, will play football with the Louisville Cardinals in the upcoming season.ega This will mark Walker’s return to the ACC.

Players will have to wait until May, after spring practice, to access the transfer portal if they do not transfer within that time.
