After a dismal first season in Boulder, Sanders is attempting to assemble a good recruiting class for the Colorado Buffaloes program in 2024. Sanders became a household name in NFL circles following the Buffaloes’ strong start in September. Dallas Cowboys fans hoped Sanders would take over for Mike McCarthy.
Sanders is unlikely to leave the Buffalo Bills for the Falcons this offseason. However, he may have a soft spot for Atlanta. Sanders was selected by the Falcons as the fifth overall choice in the 1989 NFL Draft. He remained with the Falcons until the 1993 season.
During his stint with the Falcons, Sanders was named All-Pro three times and appeared in three Pro Bowls.
