JUST IN: Giannis Antetokounmpo Gets Brutally Honest on Fans Booing Milwaukee Bucks Amid Jazz Blowout

It would be a vast understatement to say that the Milwaukee Bucks’ performance against the Utah Jazz on Monday night was disappointing. The Bucks not only dropped their fourth game in a row, but they also lost in a way that was even more embarrassing.

Milwaukee’s deficit grew to 33 points, and ultimately, they were defeated 132-116.

At home, fans boo the Milwaukee Bucks
The home crowd at the Fiserv Forum wasn’t happy with how their team played that night. The Jazz were so dominant in this game that they began jeering the Bucks as early as the second quarter. In 32 minutes of play, Lauri Markkanen finished with 21 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block, and no turnovers. In addition, the All-Star center scored four triples against a horrendous Milwaukee defense.

Antetokounmpo Giannis Reacts
Giannis Antetokounmpo was asked to comment on his own fans jeering the team during the game after the game. The former MVP of back-to-back games responded in a brutally honest manner:

According to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, “I think we have great fans, but around the league, if you don’t play hard and give everything for the team, there are times where you might get booed.” “… S**t, I would also boo myself tonight.”

It goes without saying that Giannis was not happy with his or his team’s performance either.
