JUST IN: Toronto Raptors vs LA Clippers; will the Raptors channel their anger into a win?

Following their one-point setback to the Lakers the previous night, the Toronto Raptors are back in Los Angeles to play the Clippers tonight.

In case you haven’t been online lately, the Toronto Raptors were victorious in their game yesterday night, but the Lakers emerged victorious 132-131 in the fourth quarter due to a 23-2 disparity in free throw attempts.

Darko Rajakovic blasted the officials for giving the Lakers preferential treatment at his postgame press conference after the game.
Rajakovic’s retort has since gone viral and been making the rounds of the press all day.

The Raptors themselves won’t have much time to reflect, as they play the Clippers again at Crypto.com Arena tonight.

It will be a reunion as well as a kind of atonement for yesterday night’s defeat. Kawhi Leonard and Norm Powell, two former Raptors, are currently Clippers players.

The Raptors played incredibly well last night despite the loss. RJ Barrett scored 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, while Scottie Barnes scored a team-high 26 points.

To defeat the Clippers, who struggled early in the season but are currently 23-13 and in fourth place in the Western Conference, they will need to focus their 2024 energies.

The Clippers embarked on a nine-game winning streak in December and have won seven of their previous ten games.

In other developments, the organization announced today that Kawhi Leonard has also agreed to a contract extension.

If Toronto wants to avoid ending their road trip with a losing record, they must ignore the commotion and concentrate on defeating the formidable Clippers today.
