The Texans have a stacked injury report to start the weekend.
The emergence of the Houston Texans as a serious force to be reckoned with in the AFC, led by rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, was one of the biggest surprises of the 2023 NFL regular season.
Stroud was picked with the No. 2 overall choice in the 2023 NFL Draft and was considered to be a potential franchise quarterback for the Texans, but no one expected him to lead the team to the NFL playoffs in his first season.
The Texans entered the season as a rebuilding club, but with Stroud and fellow rookie defensive end Will Anderson Jr. as promising building stones, the squad now has a chance to put on a show in the postseason.
Unfortunately for the Texans, the team has a number of significant names on its injury report ahead of the Wild Card Weekend matchup with the Cleveland Browns, as published by the team on Twitter.
