The new 30-day window for Crimson Tide gamers to access the portal is made possible by the change in leadership. We’ll be watching players like defensive back Zay Mincey and running back Kevin Riley, who Miami actively recruited.
According to what I understand, Taulia Tagovailoa, the former quarterback for Maryland, would still be of interest to the Hurricanes if he is able to secure an NCAA waiver to play one more season. He sent in his request last week, and they haven’t given themselves a timeframe or timeline for responding. If cleared, he might start for Miami as an experienced first-year player until 2025, when one of the team’s young signal callers is ready to assume the reins.
