NEWS FLASH: Falcons owner Arthur Blank Reject Giants’ Requests to Interview Assistant Coaches

Under head coach Brian Daboll, the New York Giants are having trouble finding a new special teams coordinator.

Following the firing of longtime coordinator Thomas McGaughey by New York earlier this week, the Giants have been prevented from interviewing prospective candidates by three separate teams.

Chris Tabor, the special teams coordinator for the Carolina Panthers, was reportedly refused access by New York to speak with him on Saturday. The Los Angeles Chargers denied New York’s request to bring in special teams coordinator Ryan Ficken earlier in the week, while the Atlanta Falcons prevented them from interviewing special teams coordinator Marquice Williams.
After dismissing Frank Reich, Arthur Smith, and Brandon Staley as head coaches, all three of those teams—the Panthers, Falcons, and Chargers—are still searching for a replacement.
