DONE DEAL: Louisville Cardinals has completed the signing top Transfer Portal Class as the Lands Former Miami Tight End

So far this season, the Louisville Cardinals have dominated the transfer portal. In less than a month, they have recruited over 20 players to commit to the program. This team advanced to the ACC Championship Game last season and hopes to face Florida State in 2024. On Saturday, former Miami Hurricanes tight end Jaleel Skinner confirmed his commitment to the program, adding to their class.

Skinner’s record with Miami has been mixed. He caught nine passes for 129 yards and a touchdown as a freshman. In 2023, he saw his snaps decrease and only appeared in two games. The Cardinals are hoping that the 6-foot-5, 270-pound tight end will become a valuable offensive weapon. As head coach Jeff Brohm attempts to rebuild the roster, he joins two other tight ends who have committed to the team. While he hasn’t put up the numbers, Skinner is brimming with promise. Skinner stated this in a statement.

“The ability to travel to Louisville is a blessing.” Some of the highlights have been the opportunities to be a part of a growing program. I was also fortunate enough to attend the same college as my younger sister. Transferring to Louisville provides the opportunity to be a part of a lively and supportive community as well as a fantastic coaching staff.”

2024 Prospects

Florida State football recruiting update: Jaleel Skinner offered by FSU - Tomahawk Nation
In 2024, the Cardinals will face two major non-conference opponents. They must travel to Notre Dame and Kentucky in the first four weeks of the season. Those are two challenging games, and both are on the road. From then, the ACC schedule is rather conventional, with the Cardinals not having to meet the Seminoles during the regular season. The games against Clemson and Miami are undoubtedly the most difficult on the schedule.
The Louisville Cardinals are stockpiling talent for the 2024 season. Can they win the ACC and make a run at the College Football Playoff next season?
