GREAT SIGNING: Louisville Cardinals lands Former Miami Hurricanes Top Star

So far this season, the Louisville Cardinals have dominated the transfer portal. In less than a month, they have secured the commitment of over twenty players to the program. This group hopes to challenge Florida State in 2024 after making it to the ACC Championship Game the previous year. When former Miami Hurricanes tight end Jaleel Skinner confirmed his commitment to the program on Saturday, they welcomed another student to their class.

Miami has yielded inconsistent outcomes for Skinner. He hauled in nine passes for 129 yards and a touchdown during his first campaign. In 2023, he witnessed a decline in snaps and played in just two games.

.. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound tight end wants to help the Cardinals score a lot of points offensively. As head coach Jeff Brohm attempts to restructure the roster, he joins two other tight ends who have committed to the team. Skinner hasn’t put up the numbers, but he’s a man full of potential. In a statement, Skinner said this.

“It is a gift to be able to visit Louisville. Among the notable aspects have been the chances to participate in a program that is flourishing. The chance to attend the same college as my younger sister was another blessing. Moving to Louisville offers the opportunity to join a fantastic coaching staff and a lively, encouraging community.

2024 Prospects

Louisville Cardinals land WR Ja'Corey Brooks
In 2024, the Cardinals play two important non-conference games. They have two away games in the first four weeks of the season: Notre Dame and Kentucky. These are two difficult games that are both away from home. After that, the Cardinals’ ACC schedule is somewhat typical, as they are spared from playing the Seminoles during the regular season. The two most difficult games on the schedule are undoubtedly those against Miami and Clemson.

For 2024, the Louisville Cardinals are bringing in a ton of talent. Can they win the ACC and try to qualify for the College Football Playoffs the following year?
