Duce Staley is a potential running back coach that Cleveland has explored, although there is fierce competition. Jerrod Johnson, whom they are considering as a possible offensive coordinator, is comparable in this regard. Regarding the tight ends, coach, they now have their man, and it’s not the person any of us anticipated.

They were able to get Tommy Rees, the offensive coordinator for the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2023. Zac Jackson claims that Rees, a 31-year-old up-and-coming coach, would also aid in the passing game as a whole.

Rees played one season for Washington in the NFL after graduating from Notre Dame as a quarterback. Since then, he has been advancing up the coaching ranks, holding positions at Alabama (2023) and Notre Dame (2020–2022) as the quarterback coach and offensive coordinator.

Browns want to use the air to express their creativity more.
Rees brings a new viewpoint to the team and can implement some of the ideas that have been effective for Alabama. They could be able to take the offence to the next level if they are able to acquire an offensive coordinator with quarterback expertise, like Jerrod Johnson.

Even with the Browns’ exceptional performance in 2023, there were moments when the offence faltered and the pass catchers were unable to struggle to get open. It was more of an opportunity to change things up and bring in fresh ideas than a serious indictment of the old team.
