That
But the head coaching cycle never ends, and according to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones, the Browns need to move quickly to acquire their new offensive coordinator because other clubs are also trying to fill positions.
He announced on Twitter that they had interviewed candidates for the open OC post today, including Andy Dickerson, Ken Dorsey, Jerrod Johnson, Brian Johnson, and Kellen Moore, and that it was time to make an announcement.
The Browns have taken longer than normal to select an offensive coordinator, indicating that they are aware that this is their one chance to do it right.
Despite being healthy, Deshaun Watson has only made a total of 12 appearances for the Browns and hasn’t really been that good.
It only makes sense that they’re willing to go all in to improve the offence around Watson at this juncture, as the Watson trade is looking like a major disaster and time is running out.
Considering everything, it won’t be long until they choose their next offensive coordinator.
