Defensive end Jonathan Greenard recorded a career-high 12.5 sacks, while cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. ended his second season with five interceptions. However, no player made a bigger leap than wide receiver Nico Collins. Collins enjoyed a breakout season thanks to good health and improved quarterback play from rookie C.J. Stroud, finishing with a career-high 1,297 yards on 80 receptions and eight touchdowns. Collins improved so much in his third season that Pro Football Focus named him the Texans’ most improved player for the season.
