DONE DEAL: LSU Tigers Land Talented 4-Star Cornerback In The 2025 Cycle

The LSU Tigers are perennial contenders in the SEC. Part of this is attributable to Brian Kelly’s recruiting efforts. The institution is an attractive site, particularly for cornerbacks. Baton Rouge has produced numerous excellent cornerbacks. The program added another recruit when Jaboree Antoine, a four-star cornerback in the 2025 cycle, committed.
According to On3, Antoine is a top-20 recruit for the 2025 cycle. He choose the Tigers over Texas A&M and Texas. He joins a class that features five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood and five-star running back Harlem Berry. He explained why he chose the Tigers.

LSU promoted and emphasized elite and leadership. That’s their standard, which I believe is perfect. Just hired a wonderful coaching team and will have the opportunity to be trained by one of the greatest, Corey Raymond, who has ties to where I am from and understands what it takes to overcome the hurdles that come your way.

I’m simply grateful to be in a position to play for my home state and bring back the LSU I remember. I am an excellent player, but more importantly, I am willing to work hard for anything and everything I desire. I’ve always worked hard for what I wanted, and I feel what Coach Kelly is building will be unique, and I’m honoured to be a part of it.”

The 2025 Class
It is still early, but LSU has the best recruiting class in 2025, according to On3. It’s not hard to understand why. Underwood was the top prize, and having an elite quarterback can cover up a lot of problems on the roster. Ohio State, Georgia, Oregon, and Clemson complete the current top five. While it is still early, recruiting often has a snowball effect. Once one player comes, others take notice and want to be a part of the program.
