Onis Konanbanny, a four-star cornerback at Columbia (SC) Heathwood Hall Episcopal, released a top-ten list on New Year’s Day, and Miami wasn’t among them.
Miami has not only positioned itself among that exclusive group, but after spending time with freshman safety Isaiah Thomas and 6-foot-2, 170-pounder Jahmile Addae on Saturday during his first visit to Coral Gables, they are currently in the running alongside North Carolina for his services.
“Impressive. Completely insane. Like, how unique is this? This is really love—true love. This is the essence of true love. This is incredible, ridiculous, and wonderful. This is really amazing. It really is wonderful. “Spectacular is the word you need to use,” Konanbanny stated. “Everything about today—the way I was greeted, the way I connected with staff members, the campus—made me feel like a priority. It was truly remarkable and exceptional. Everything was distinctive.
