GOOD NEWS: Patrick Graham, will be returning as the Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive coordinator for his third season.

It seems likely that Patrick Graham will stay for his third season as the defensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders.

According to multiple rumours, Mike Macdonald, the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens, will take over as head coach of the Seattle Seahawks. Graham had two interviews with Seattle and was considered for the position.
However, that is no longer an option. Prior to Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh taking over as the Raiders’ AFC West opponent, Graham was one of fifteen applicants to interview for the head coaching position with the Los Angeles Chargers this month. The Washington Commanders are the only other team that currently has a head coaching vacancy. Graham hasn’t conducted an interview there.

Graham is anticipated to stay on Antonio Pierce’s staff and has not been hired as head coach. The Raiders had a defensive comeback in 2023 under Graham’s leadership, and in 2024, they will have another opportunity to do it.

In the event that Graham was hired as head coach, the Raiders would have received third-round draft selections in 2024 and 2025. Graham might be hired as head coach for the Raiders’ 2024 team if their defence performs well.
