GOOD NEWS: The Miami Hurricanes Reigns Supreme At The Top Of Several Super Bowl Lists

With the Super Bowl approaching on February 11th and two Miami Hurricanes facing off against one another, it serves as a reminder that Miami stays at the top of the record books.

According to Brett McMurphy of ActionNetworkHQ, Miami is the top school in terms of “Most points scored in Super Bowl based on players’ last college attended” with 84 points. Florida, Miami’s Week 1 opponent, is ranked second overall with 82 points.
The following Hurricanes have scored points in the Super Bowl: Michael Irvin (12), Devin Hester (6), Reggie Wayne (6), Frank Gore (6), and Jeremy Shockey (6).

The Miami Hurricanes are tied for the most Super Bowl appearances in history, with 126. Ted Hendricks, Vince Wilfork, and Jim Kelly have made the most appearances, with four each.

As previously reported, Chiefs safety Deon Bush and 49ers offensive tackle Jon Feliciano will make appearances 125 and 126, respectively.
