The Florida Gators have been busy so far this month hosting prospects in town for various Junior Days in Gainesville. This weekend will mark the final event before the recruiting ‘Dead Period’ kicks in until the spring. It will be another slate of recruits that are expected to make their way to town this coming Saturday. Tenney had hoped to get to Gainesville much earlier during this stretch of ‘Contact Period’, but was unable to make it down until this coming weekend. It will be his first ever visit to Florida after landing an offer from the coaching staff. So far, tight ends coach Russ Callaway has been his main contact in Gainesville, but this weekend will be a chance for him to get time around various other staffers. He’s also been in contact with head coach Billy Napier as well. “I’ve had a great relationship with Coach, Billy Napier, and Coach Callaway! They’ve kept up with me every week since they’ve been there. Can’t wait for the visit.”
