JUST IN: Giants could target Shrine Bowl standout offensive lineman in the 2024 NFL Draft

This offseason, the New York Giants must figure out how to improve their offensive line. Investing some of their draft resources in the offensive line’s interior in an effort to find a talented offensive guard who can emerge as a starter would be one way to solve the problem. Christian Mahogany, an iOL for Boston College, stood out at the 2024 Shrine Bowl and is a player the Giants should target highly in the April NFL Draft.

Christian Mahogany of the Shrine Bowl might be a target for the Giants.
Mahogany has been stomping the competition at the Shrine Bowl this year, showcasing his skills to the Giants’ coaches and scouts. Mike Kafka, the offensive coordinator, is leading the West Team in the Shrine Bowl this year. Mahogany plays for the East Team, but Kafka has had a close examination of the Boston College guard this practice week, and he looks like he can compete with some of the best players in the class.

Although it’s possible that Kafka will leave New York during the offseason, it’s still likely that he’ll sign with the Giants. His knowledge of Mahogany will be helpful to the front staff as they pursue offensive linemen in the draft and carry out their pre-draft activities.

Mahogany looked amazing at the Bowl of Roses. He has shown that he can combine strength, speed, and size when attacking. Mahogany’s performance at the Shrine Bowl has the potential to propel him up the selection boards.
