The top 100 prospects for the 2024 season, according to MLB Pipeline, include five players from the Pittsburgh Pirates farm system. MLB Network made the announcement of the Top 100 list on Friday.
Along with the San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds, the Pirates have five representatives, which ties them for third place in all of baseball. The only teams with more players represented in the top 100 are the Baltimore Orioles with six and the Chicago Cubs with seven.
There are now five representatives within the top 100, which is one more than the four that the organization had at the end of the 2023 season.
