Even though the Houston Texans’ 2023 NFL season is over, CJ Stroud continues to get attention. In only their first year of professional play, Stroud and Will Anderson Jr. were selected to the Pro Bowl, giving Houston the accomplishment the team had never before achieved.
Stroud just finished an incredible rookie campaign. Stroud, who was picked second overall in the NFL Draft the previous year, finished 2023 with 4,108 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, five interceptions, and a 63.9 percent completion percentage. On 39 carries, he also gained 167 yards and three touchdowns through rushes. Houston became one of the NFL’s most productive passing teams with Stroud leading the club on the field, finishing seventh overall with 243.6 yards through the air per game.
