DONE DEAL: Steelers has Sign a blockbuster deal with Former Browns DB

Pittsburgh The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the signing of Nate Meadors, a former defensive back for the Cleveland Browns, to a reserve/future contract. Meadors, 26, was cut before the Steelers’ playoff game against the Buffalo Bills, despite having joined the team’s practice squad late in 2023. Now that he’s back with the team, he’ll have another chance to secure a position on the roster for his sixth NFL season ahead of OTAs and training camp. Meadors signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent after being selected out of UCLA. He played three games in Minnesota during his two years there.

Since then, he has played for the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Cleveland Browns, most recently. In addition, he participated in the 2023 XFL season with the St. Louis Battlehawks. 23 players have signed future or reserve contracts with the Steelers thus far this offseason.
