Ackerman (MS) Caleb Cunningham, a five-star wide receiver from Choctaw County, last visited the University of Florida as an underclassman in 2022, when the Gators hosted the LSU Tigers at home. It was on that trip that the Gators made an offer to the elite pass catcher. It had obviously been a long time since that trip, but he received a refresher on Saturday when he returned for Florida’s final Junior Day of the ‘Contact Period’.
It was an opportunity for him to meet with wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales in greater depth and gain a larger perspective on Gainesville and the university.
“It was nice meeting everyone and spending time with them. They have some amazing folks there. It was just an opportunity for me to see everything there. They probably have one of the greatest campuses I’ve ever visited. It was beautiful, and they were very welcoming, so I appreciated it.”
