Kliff Kingsbury’s decision to join the Washington Commanders over the Las Vegas Raiders as offensive coordinator prompted a lot of NFL draft speculation. However, on Sunday night, USC quarterback Caleb Williams increased the level of intrigue.

Williams, who is predicted to be one of the top quarterbacks taken in the 2024 NFL selection, maybe in the top five, took to social media to voice his support for Kingsbury.
Williams finished the 2023 season with the Trojans, completing 68.6% of his throws for 3,633 yards, 30 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Last season, he also added 11 running touchdowns and concluded his collegiate career with 10,082 passing yards, 93 air touchdowns, 27 rushing touchdowns, and only 14 interceptions.

The Commanders own the second pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Kingsbury’s decision to choose Washington over Las Vegas (No. 13 pick) sparked considerable conjecture that he did so to increase his chances of drafting a top signal-caller.
Williams is expected to be selected between the first 1-3 picks of the draft, and the Commanders figure to be a prominent contender.
