BREAKING NEWS: Auburn and Miami making strong push for recent Notre Dame 4-star

Marcus Freeman, Notre Dame’s head coach, is recognized for being a good recruiter, yet even he cannot win them all.

That isn’t even true for 4-star EDGE CJ May of Highland Home, Alabama, although Freeman did win May’s pledge at one time. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound recruit committed to the Fighting Irish in September 2023.

That’s a painful loss for Notre Dame, but at first glance, it appears to be more of a proximity issue than anything.
