“Sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium that the Toronto Raptors intend to waive Spencer Dinwiddie in order to avoid a $1.5 million upcoming contract bonus for games played.” A significant new addition to the NBA’s buyout market, who will be sought after by multiple playoff clubs.”

With the Raptors dismissing Dinwiddie, he immediately becomes one of the top eligible buyout candidates.

Dinwiddie is already in his tenth season and has averaged 13.6 points per game with the Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, and Dallas Mavericks.

“Lol, I understand you’re furious with me right now. “But this isn’t true,” Dinwiddie said.
