ATLANTA, Georgia (First News Atlanta) The Pro Football Hall of Fame has more Falcons players than any other team.
On Thursday night, the five players picked for the Canton All-Star team from the modern era were revealed as defensive end Dwight Freeney and special teams legend Devin Hester.
Hester was a player with the Falcons in 2014 and 2015, although he is best remembered for his stint with the Chicago Bears. Hester owns the record for most NFL punt return touchdowns and is considered one of the greatest special teams performers of all time.
In 2016, Freeney was a member of the Falcons. His tenure with the Indianapolis Colts is what made him most famous.
The other three modern-era inductees are linebacker Patrick Willis, wide receiver Andre Johnson, and defensive end Julius Peppers. Senior inductees were Denver Broncos linebacker Randy Grandishar and longtime Bears defensive tackle Steve McMichael.
Hester and Freeney don Falcons uniforms to become the tenth and eleventh honorees, respectively.
