ESPN BREAKING NEWS: According to Cleveland insider, Browns Lose Another Coach To AFC Rival

When it rains, it pours for the Cleveland Browns and their coaching staff.

Shortly after Bill Callahan left to join his son Brian on the Tennessee Titans, it appears that another assistant coach will also be on his way to Nashville.

According to ESPN Cleveland insider Tony Grossi, Ben Bloom will also be joining the Callahans.
However, Bloom’s departure isn’t surprising given that he was recently replaced by former Houston Texans assistant Jacques Cesaire, who was named the new defensive line coach.

Bloom was supposed to remain with the organization and serve in a new capacity, but this will certainly no longer be the case.

Bloom has been with the team since 2020.

He worked as a senior defensive assistant for Kevin Stefanski before becoming the run game coordinator in 2021 and 2022.

Then he began coaching the defensive line, and while he did an excellent job and the results speak for themselves, it’s possible that the team wasn’t completely content with what he accomplished last season.
Callahan’s departure will undoubtedly be the greatest loss for the team’s coaching staff.

He’s largely regarded as the best offensive line coach in the league, and while the Browns didn’t want to stand in the way of his working under his son, they may have a difficult time moving on from that loss.
