BREAKING NEWS: Auburn legend joins Hugh Freeze in The Jungle for Auburn’s game vs. South Carolina

Bo Jackson, the 1985 Heisman Trophy winner and former Auburn running back, made a welcome return to his old school on Wednesday night as the 13th-ranked Auburn men’s basketball team faced the 11th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks in a crucial SEC game.

Bruce Pearl, the coach of Auburn basketball, was blunt in his preparation for Wednesday’s game against South Carolina.

Pearl stated on Tuesday, “We have to beat South Carolina tomorrow if we want to win the (SEC) championship.” “Very basic.”
Auburn was fortunate to be playing at Neville Arena, where the Tigers were 12-0 on the season when the game started.

Jackson also made the decision to experience the magic of Neville Arena against South Carolina, joining Auburn’s student section—fondly referred to as The Jungle—for the first half of the game on Wednesday night.
Hugh Freeze, the head coach of Auburn football, was also present for the game on Wednesday night and spent a large portion of the first half in The Jungle with Jackson. Together, andFreeze  Jackson cheered on the Tigers and took numerous pictures with supporters as Auburn easily defeated South Carolina, leading 50-28 at the half.
