The Cleveland Browns were hit hard by the injury bug this season, but they still managed to impress many people by going 11-6 and entering the playoffs for only the third time since their current version began in 1999.
There are still worries about whether injured studs Deshaun Watson and Nick Chubb will be the same next season, but if they are, the team should be a serious contender in the AFC.
They have made some coaching changes following their wild-card playoff round loss to the Houston Texans, including the hire of new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, who took over for Alex Van Pelt.
According to CFB Focus, the Browns are interviewing Ohio State University linebackers coach James Laurinaitis, but it is unclear what position he is interviewing for.
From 2005 to 2008, Laurinaitis was a three-time consensus All-American, three-time First-team All-Big Ten selection, and two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.
He was a second-round draft pick by the St. Louis Rams in 2009, and he spent eight seasons in the NFL, seven of them with the Rams.
The Browns won mostly on defence this season, with defensive end Myles Garrett awarded Defensive Player of the Year and linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah leading them in tackles and tackles for loss while earning his first Pro Bowl selection.
Laurinaitis is 37 years old and has only two years of college coaching experience.
